BAr Table

I became a BIG fan of a Bar top (high top tables) ... Especially those wooden ones! I want them to be LONG and skinny -

One day I did a quick search for a brunch place near my apt in Union sq. then ran into Piccolo cafe.. from what I read, the owners decorated the cafe them selves- IT is absolutely beautiful!!!

They NOT only decorated the stores but made the tables them selves - I really wanted to take ONE home - gave them my number wanting to find out if they were willing to make ANOTHER one. BUT that would be probably out of my BUDGET..

HEe hee NOt as cool as the one in the cafe but Ikea also carry a wooden hightop table - maybe I will just get that one and settle?

Beautiful & Wild

I am moving - I want my new room to be decorated and somewhat up to my standard..

So I've done some brainstorming and put together a design ideas!

I don't have a headboard for my bed. I've seen people paint headboard on the walls - HAH! why NOT? All you need is a STEADY HAND + ORANGE PAINT + BRUSH?

The Photo on the left bottom is the 3D model of what my room would look like (least I will attempt to make it look close to it!)

Grey is becoming one of my favorite colors. It neutralizes everything. I am still able to have FUN with POPPY color ORange without being so overwhelming because of the GREY in the room.

I found these items from Ikea. In NYC, you could get free rides to Ikea in Brooklyn from Pier 11. So awesome because my apt is going to be only like 3 blocks away from Pier 11! HOW awesome is that?

Unfortunately my room does NOT have a closet. I will have to use the closet in the HALL way (bigger than the one I have right now). I don't want to bring a clothing rack in the room because It makes the room too messy - Everything being exposed. Plus, clothes get dusty and all - I thought of the stores like H&M, anthropology, gap... HOw the clothes are hung on the wall sm - LG. Why can I do that in my room? but only have about 3 of those and only hang clothes that I plan to wear tomorroW?

So then I started searching for a great HOOK/rack... guess who has em? IKEA!!

I still have to find a mirror for the new drawer that Ji is going to give me before she leaves NY (which will be painted in ORANGE). Grey curtain with a GREAT price tag :) we will see where it goes! OHH forgot to add cool pillows!!!! possibly with some patterns in green and ORANGE!
